JOIN US FOR AN OUTDOOR,
DYNAMIC, MOVEMENT-CENTERED WEEKEND!
Learn how to see the way you’re moving in a more nuanced way! This weeekend is an engaging, two-day session designed to give you a strong foundation in aligning your body well during a variety of activities—including walking and squatting—so you can start learning how to be your own personal trainer and guide yourself to moving more with greater ease and less pain. Using 40 exercises from the bestselling book Move Your DNA: Restore Your Health Through Natural Movement as the curriculum, your instructor, Patrick Hogan, will help you learn how to fit the book’s exercises to your body.
You might think of this event as a dynamic and interactive book club!
You’ll leave the weekend knowing how to nourish your body with movement, head-to-toe.
Three quarters of the course will be on the mat, but you’ll also spend time applying good form to walking, hanging, and introducing your feet to “vitamin texture.” This weekend will maximize the fresh air and outdoor experience, because moving together, outside, is what our instincts and biology need most.
Whether you are new to exercise or a movement professional wanting to give more technical instructions to your students, the skill of breaking down an exercise—body part by body part—so that it fits your body best, will pay off again and again.
