Supination and Pronation
This workshop will expand upon the Simple Habits to Healthy Feet workshop (no prior attendance necessary. Come and explore!)
In this session, we’ll focus on supination and pronation.
Sometimes used to define a condition of the foot/ankle:
“The doctor said my feet are pronated!”
We’ll define the difference between pronation/pronated and supination/supinated,
discuss why these are necessary motions of the foot/ankle complex,
and explore how to develop more mobility or stability depending on your particular tendency.
All in all, you’ll leave feeling more mobile in the feet, energized in your hips, and with a better understanding of how your “footwork” can help you move better overall.
